Banner Ironwood starting construction

The 220,000 square foot hospital is set to open in late 2009. This will be a welcomed site for the Queen Creek area. Queen Creek continues to grow as an up and coming community with the influx of everything from first time homebuyers to retirement communities. Banner Ironwood will have a full service emergency room, four surgical suites, medical imaging, laboratory services, and will start out with 24 in patient beds. The hospital is set up to accommodate 100 beds when fully equipped. Queen Creek is currently in negotiations with the county and looking at annexing Banner Ironwood to help with the impact fees
