A study by HomeStaging.com tested over 2000 homes and found that the ones that were staged sold in half the time and for 6.3% more, pretty convincing numbers. More and more desperate sellers are looking for the advantage that will set them apart. Staging gives a home that all important first impression and a WOW factor that makes all the difference in the world. Staging can be as simple as adding some updated decorations and moving the furniture around to make the home appear larger, or as complicated as completely redecorating a home. It can cost anywhere from $150 to several thousand depending on the level of detail. I have in the past recommended a home stager for a helping hand. It is now almost a necessity to get the edge.
